Review: Logitech K400r wireless keyboard

I purchased the Logitech K400r to go with the Rikomagic MK802II mini Android PC. It is a very well built keyboard and a good size, 14 inches wide by 5 and a half inches. It runs on 2 AA batteries (included). The touch pad supports multi touch which makes navigation a breeze.

I use this keyboard to control the Android mini PC that is running on our Avision 42″ LCD TV.   I did quite a bit of research on the different mini keyboards and chose this one based on it’s size, name brand and price. I have not been disappointed. The build quality is good and the size is perfect for operating on the couch. The keys have a slight routed edge on them giving them a chiclet style feel. The touch pad works very well and is a good size.

The design is great and is built to be stored on it’s back edge in an upright position. So it takes up very little room when not in use. There is no indicator light on keyboard but I think it shuts off on its own. I have been using it daily for a few months on the supplied batteries and they are still good. Back lighting on the keys would be great especially as I use this in the living room and in the dark at times but at the price point I can’t complain.

I have also used it with a Macbook Pro and it is flawless. The multi touch is great and  have rather large hands.

Pros: Price, Build Quality, Multi Touch Pad
Cons: No indicator Light, Would be nice if was back lit.
